SATURDAY PHOTO HUNT–DIRTY

Posted by Karen on Aug 31 2007

This week’s theme is “Dirty.” I present to you my children (in OSU Buckeye outfits) and two of their friends. You’ll notice that those children are dressed in outfits with “dirty” words on them! I can’t believe their parents let them go out in public with that word on their shirts!

2005 Dcl Wdw Sept 001

*edited to add: It totally slipped my mind that so many people from around the world would be visiting my Photohunt. Here in Ohio State University country, Michigan is our biggest rival in college football. They don’t like us, and we don’t like them. :) Sorry for the confusion!! Tomorrow’s post will have a full explanation of the situation if you care to check back.

Uh-oh! I guess all our Florida Gator shirts, caps, coffee mugs, banners, national championship geer…must have dirty words on them, too?

    Very clever, Karen!

Here is what I thought was dirty at Pollywog Creek.

Tsk tsk tsk… there is just no accounting for some parents taste in children’s clothing! Some should be ashamed.

(lolling at how you had to EXPLAIN… we do forget that OUR slang does NOT translate well!)

LOL, ok we understand. Opposing team / competitor = dirty word.

Sounds like the Stanford and UC Berkeley rivalry we have in these parts. Around town I wear my Standford tee - but I’m a closet CAL girl at heart.

Yeah I was looking for the dirty words. Lol. But I could relate already when you explained it. Varsity school rivals are so alive here in the Philippines but basketball is the most popular game.
