I think stopping possible credit card fraud is the more important thing. If Hubby was planning a surprise, he’ll understand. Maybe you could plan an England trip together!

Unfortunately, this can be how ID theft starts. Your card/info was compromised and others could be as well. If it were me, I’d get a copy of my credit report & call my other credit cards to alert them of a possible compromise. Sadly, I speak from family experience; if these steps had been taken immediately, it could have saved hours of work sorting it out, years of paranoid thoughts and several hundred thousand worth of ID fraud.
