LUNAPADS CONTEST AND COUPONS!
Posted by Karen on Oct 26 2007
I hinted in yesterday’s review post that there would be a contest to win some free Lunapads! Well, here it is!
Here’s the deal….Lunapads has generously offered me a Lunapads Into kit to give away to one of my readers! In the Intro Kit you’ll receive a nice combination of pads and liners in various sizes. WOW! It’s really a great way to try Lunapads for yourself!
Here’s the contest rules:
The contest will run from today until Monday, November 26th 11:59 p.m.
To enter: using the contact link above, send me the answer to this question: What are two products that Lunapads suggests for teens? Please let me know if you have a blog when you send your answers. For fun, leave a comment on this post with your favorite Lunapad fabric. Doing this will give you one extra entry into the contest.
A winner will be chosen at random from all of those who answer correctly. The winner will be notified on Tuesday, November 27th.
Now, maybe you already use Lunapads and you’re just looking to increase your supply a bit. Lunapads has also set up some coupon codes to give you a discount!
Go to Lunapads and shop around. Then use the following codes:
For $5 off an order over $25, use coupon code pediascribe01
For $10 off an order over $60, use coupon code pediascribe02
Both coupon codes expire 1/31/08. They are case sensitive, so enter them exactly as shown.
Even without a discount, Lunapads pay for themselves very quickly!

Ok, I don’t own any of these but if I had to pick I would say the the pink.

I sent in my answers! I’d love to win this so I had a few pads on hand to give to interested friends. I can barely afford enough for myself (I only have allowance to go on!)
My favorite fabric? Purple stardust, hands down. =)

Favorite color would either be midnight pansy or disco dots!

I definately want to enter! I want to make the switch, but I just don’t know where to start. I am allergic to many disposable pads. I guess that is why so many of my kids have been allergic to diapers???? I use cloth diapers!
Call me crazy, but I’d probably just go for red. You know, no stains!

Purple Stardust is my fave!

I love whichever fabric is newest, I want to collect them all! But I’d have to say my favourite is one of my first ones, it has butterflies on it and it is now discontinued: it’s purple and blue!

My favorite pattern is the crazy cubes. I also really like purple stardust and bubble mosaic though. I have one mini pad, but I would really like to try some more. I love being able to use a product that doesn’t have perfume or latex in it. (I’m allergic to both.)

I just bought a 7 Day Teeny Pantyliner Kit so I could wear a liner everyday. (They’re sooooo comfortable!) I chose the Mixed fabrics so I could sample them all. I’d have to say that my favorites are Purple Stardust and Pink Poodles (I’m wearing PP today). Crazy Cubes and Midnight Pansy come in handy on heavy flow days!

Hello,
I just found out about Lunapads myself….even though, I have been having periods for about 25 years! But, I am pregnant and am sooo excited about the natural products as I have always had a slight allergy to conventional products. It is great to see so many woman moving towards a natural approach to woman’s cycles.
edited because it contained the answers to the question and I didn’t want everyone else having easy access to it.

I have wanted to try these for a few months now - like you - just haven’t taken the plunge. I love the polka dot fabrics the best, but there are so many fun ones to choose from.

I would love to be entered and win! My favorite is the purple stardust, semi-serene and yet pretty. I tend to be allegic to the glues/dyes/chemical processes in many things, yay to a natural way!!

I just sent my answers through the contact form. My favourite Lunapad fabric is the Cream, because it’s organic (and I’ve heard about how many nasty chemicals are used on cotton that isn’t). But I think the Midnight Pansy is really pretty.

I like the cream organic cotton or the mixed light colors.
I am curious about these and wonder how well they work and if I would like them.

I like the disco dots pattern. I switched my babies to cloth diapers about six months ago and haven’t looked back. Although I share your initial ‘EW’ first impression of this product, it can’t be as bad as cleaning diapers (which isn’t all that bad really), so I’d be interested in giving it a try. I’m always for saving the earth and money too

Lunapads are wonderful!! LUnapads were my first cloth pad purchase almost 4!! years ago—-and I started my homeschooled teen on them 2 years ago with her very first period! I personally love ALL the fabrics—and have been collecting all my favorites since the beginning also. Cloth sounds disgusting—until you try it—-and then you end up wondering why it took SOO long to actually find out that such a wonderful option exists………..

I like the Purple Stardust design. I was just looking at these the other day and thinking about trying them out so this is perfect timing! I hope I win!

I personally loved the blue roses print which they no longer use… :o( but if I had to pick another one, I guess it would be purple stardust. I *really* am not into the pink poodle one, which is of course the print my free liner came in. ;oP
