I’m so honored to have received one two THREE blog awards recently! Wow. How amazing! So here they are….
Jen at Never a Dull Moment bestowed upon me the “M’wah” award. Yeah, kinda a weird one to say, but just think of it as giving someone a big smoochy kiss. What sound would that make? Yup, M’wah!

And Deb at Mom of 3 Girls has given me two friendship awards. The “Forever Friends” award:

And the “Unconditional Friendship” Award*
As for passing these on, wow….I’m sitting here looking at my blog subscription list and thinking “oh, she deserves the “M’wah” award, but then I think, well, if I love her blog that much, she deserves the other awards too.
So in celebration of yesterday’s huge award show (The Academy Awards) I’m passing out major major awards. If you’re name is listed here, consider yourself a recipient of all three awards!! Just limit your acceptance speech to 90 seconds, mkay?
Adventures of an Awesome (Sometimes) Mother, Coming to a Nursery Near You, Fair Love, fiveberries in texas, Mom of 3 Girls, Mommin’ it Up!, Mommyzabs, Pollywog Creek, Ten Minutes to Naptime, The Road to Home, Up in the Night, ValleyGirl, I’m a Drama Mama, LadyBug Crossing, Making Home, Never a Dull Moment, The House of Jones, Life Notes 101, Praying for Parker, the SmockLady.
And, to not leave my non-blogging friends out, I also present these awards to:
Mary, Mary T, Mom, Dad, Sue, John, Janet, Reba, Teri, KT, Tina, Lynn, Dawn, Karen M, shauna, and Carolynn from Western Australia.
Apologies if I missed anyone. It’s taxing on my 39+ year old brain to keep track of things!
*Interesting that there is a picture of a dog for the Unconditional Friendship award button. As you all know, my ex-dog did not exhibit an unconditional friendship quality. This award does NOT go out to Maggie, the evil-flat coated retriever.

Waaaaaay back in my early blogging days, I complained about the signs we have around here warning us to slow down for school zones.
Someone from around these parts must be reading my blog because most of the signs have been updated. Now they look like this:

Jen over at Never a Dull Moment tagged me for a meme. She actually tagged me for the 7 Random Things About Me Meme, but I whined and whined because I just did that one, so she let me off the hook and instead tagged me for the other meme. She doesn’t realize that she gave into my whining thus creating a monster! Ha!
Anyway, this meme is the 10 Things You’ll Never Hear Me Say meme. And it was a hoot to come up with these…..
In no particular order…..
1. The #1 college football team? Why that’s the Michigan Wolverines, of course!
2. We’re having beef heart for dinner tonight, honey.
3. Hey! Look! A free puppy! Let’s take it home!
4. Electric heat is warm heat.
5. I really wish I could be pregnant again……this time with triplets!
6. Why is my house always so clean?
7. My favorite month of the year in Ohio is February
8. Carnival Cruise Line is so much better than Disney Cruise Line.
9. I wish our taxes were higher.
10. KT and Nick would do better academically and socially if they were enrolled in the local public school.
and a bonus….
11. I hope Hillary wins in November.
That was so much fun! I’m not tagging anyone specifically, but seriously, give this a whirl! And if you do it, let me know!!

My favorite song is “Endless Love”. Because I sang this song as a surprise for my love on our engagement party - Nyumix
With me, my favorite song is Korean Drama Soundtrack songs My favorite are Winter Sonata, Lovers in Paris, Full House, Love Letter, etc too much i don’t remember the the title. Why? Because they all nice to hear over and over again - Juliana RW
My favorite long song would have to be “Beth” by Kiss. I don’t know why, but I love old classic rock, and you can’t get anymore classic rock than Kiss. - Mom Knows Everything
My favorite love song is “Sweet Dreams” by Air Supply. I was a huge Air Supply fan when I was a teenager back in the 80’s and I’ve always absolutely loved this song. - Mom of 3 Girls
My favorite love song is “This is the Day” by Scott Wesley Brown. A friend of mine used it at his wedding, and I loved it so much we used it at ours. Any song that starts out “This is the day that the Lord hath made and I’m so glad he made you” encompasses two things I absolutely love. - Pediascribe
End copy
Tag, you’re it. Let’s hear about your favorite love song. And get some linky-love in return!

Today’s theme is “Wooden.” I can’t think of anything more appropriate to show you than some wooden creations my dad has made over the years. Today’s post should really be called Saturday Photos Hunt because there will be several.
So let’s get started….
Here is a picture of the second bed my dad made for Mike and me. Seems that the platform bed he made for our wedding gift became too small once Mike and I got fat had kids joining us in the middle of the night.
