HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY TO ME….

Well, I did it! I blogged for an entire year!! This silly little blog that I reluctantly took over from Dr. Mike, will now have to be pried out of my cold dead hands! He ain’t gettin’ it back!
This blog has come a long way, that’s for sure! My first post got a whopping FIVE comments (two of them very recently). Yesterday’s post currently has 905 comments! It’s overwhelming how fast things have grown around here!
All kidding aside, I thought about writing a post highlighting some of my favorite things that have happened here on the blog, but the dear Dr. Mike has generously shared his ick-germ with me. So, honestly, I don’t have the energy to go through the archives and link a bunch of posts!
I just want to tell you that my absolutely favorite part of this blog is YOU. That’s right–YOU! Stop looking over your shoulder to see who I’m talking about. YOU are the reason this journey has been so much fun! I’ve gotten to know many of you through your comments or through your blogs and I honestly feel like I have friends all over the world.
So, friends, wish me a Happy Blogaversary! And in your comments tell me one of your favorite posts from the last year. You don’t have to link to it, just something like “I loved the story about Dr. Mike’s kitty litter kidney stone! I nearly peed my pants laughing!” See, I have the crud (thanks, honey) and the Sudafed and the Motrin and the tea with honey isn’t making me feel better. So I’m hoping your comments will do the trick.
If you’re a lurker, please come out and say “Hi!” There is going to be a surprise coming up for my regular readers, but if you’re just lurking I don’t know you’re out there.

Happy “Blogaversary” to you …. and get better. The sickness is finally getting out of our house and spread to my moms, now you … they’re quick bugs!
As far as your blogs go, I think one of my favorites is when Mowana was kind enough to “house-sit” for you while you were gone. That naughty kitty invited all sorts of friends over!
Learning about your Cowboy boyfriend was a classic. Nick and his Nick-isms. He’s definatly in the right family!
And you can not forget KT’s antics with her videos.
So, I guess what I’m saying is that a lot of your blogs strike me as funny. Thanks for taking some of the monotony out of my day and shaking things up a bit!

There are so many I can’t possibly list them all. Basically I love the ones where you talk about your family and your day to day lives.
You’ve inspired me with you weight loss. You’ve brightened my day with your funny posts. You’ve educated me about homeschooling. Most of all you’ve blessed my life with your friendship.
Here’s to a great year ahead!

My favorite post was when your husband left you the last brownie and it was about the size of a penny. Hahaha. That still cracks me up. And BTW, that potato recipe was delish!
Get well soon and make sure you always have some nigthtime sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head, fever so you can rest and have a good morning medicine around. The red kind is less yucky, therefore it’ll work better cause you wont puke it out like that licorice flavored green crap. (Insert gagging sound here)

Happy Blogaversary!!! I went back and was looking at the blogs and actually found the one with the “brownie leftovers” and then decided to start at the bottom of the index and work my way up…since I missed so many…you know the reasons…anyway, there was a story on mumps and something, something and then I looked and it was written by Dr. Mike and I got interested when I read about crazy meals and making memories with your kids…and lo and behold I ran across the one Dr. Mike wrote about the pie molds….how ironic is that? Too cool…I hope my grandkids remember me to be fun…Aren’t grandmas supposed to spoil and send home?
Of course, we all get the family discount and enjoy the heck out of the pie molds and always, always, making them will be a fond memory (are you crazy) for years to come. I am going to the minutepiemold.com site. Haven’t been there since it was started….

HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY!! I’m not sure which I liked best, Mowana’s cat scan or Mike’s kitty litter stone. Both were good. ‘Course lots of them are good!
Now, get to feeling better. We have much to do this weekend and I can’t do it all by myself!

Congrats on a milestone and hope you feel better soon! Mom’s are not allowed to be sick! Favorite posts were the ones where you talked about the day each of your children was born. Thanks for allowing us to plug in to your life, will try not to be such a lurker!
