Tackle It Tuesday Meme

Today is just a list of things I need to get done. I’ll come back and strike out as things get finished. I love the feeling of striking things out. Such a sense of accomplishment! I’m sure that I’ll add new tasks as the day progresses too since my only list of things to get done is floating around in my head.

Oh, quick reminder, Skeeda contest is still going on. Stop by here for details if you haven’t already.

Old Navy has gotten much better about carrying slim/adjustable bottoms.

I found slim shorts at JC Penney, too. Of course, I’m looking for size 4 slim boys’ shorts, since my son is very very thin and also short for his age. Anyway, I’d assume that they also carry girls’ shorts. My sister also finds slims at Old Navy.

I hate that too, when my list is daunting. But you can do it! and it’ll be SO rewarding when you are done!

Busy, busy, busy! I’ve got a small list, too. But nothing that compares to yours! I did (with some anger) clean up the cigarette butts on our patio that our neighbors throw down and now I have to set up our outside chair and finish a couple chapters in my book and relax before the baby gets here. Once she’s here I know I can throw that out the window!!

Enjoy the sunshine before the chance of snow this weekend!

That’s quite a list, but it looks like you’re managing to strike through quite a bit of it! Nice job!

Looks like things are well under control! Bon voyage!!

PS. Just a quick note about the Ice Road videos (I think there will be an upcoming post about this)…

The four truckers that were sort of featured in that series have been banned from the ice road FOR LIFE because of their poor representation of what goes on up there. Not only that, but The History Channel was all set to do a spin-off series on the Diavik mine, but after the way they portrayed the truckers, Diavik changed their minds and is refusing access. They also closed the mine to all drivers, who, up until this year, were able to eat in the mine’s mess hall and use the lounge. That series, while interesting to those who have never heard or been involved with the ice road before, is incredibly insulting to the majority of the drivers who are actually conscientious about their jobs.

Definitely watch them ~ it’s an incredible feat of engineering and a very interesting series ~ just don’t believe everything you hear and see!

I’m back……checked in this morning and saw your awsome list. And now I see how much you have accomplished. You have made mincemeat of that list!! Congratulations! Sure there’s a few things left….always seems to be a thing or two (or even more) that must be left for another day, but a list certainly helps keep tuned in. Enjoy the evening. : )

I notice exercise is one of the last remaining things — doesn’t all this work you’re doing count for exercise? I’d consider it done (and probably have a cookie). But don’t listen to me. I’m a very bad influence.

Well I guess you made the high school decision for KT. And you’re kicking butt preping for vaca. I think you’re done exercising today. Peppermint T is right - mark it off and have a cookie!!

Lists are always great! Why is it always the excerise that gets put off until last? ;)

You have been so busy! And Parker made the list too! :)

I wish I could leave off the exercise part and still get this weight off of me. arh! I’ve only been getting in about 30-45 minutes a day, and I need at least an hour of good strong cardio. But my poor body just keeps screaming for mercy.
