My question is….what are you bringing me?
No really.
When do the pie molds come out? Keith had a fire built last night when I got home from Macy’s. It’s time!!!!
Uh….nothing! The thing I’d most like to bring back for you is impossible to transport. That would be nice warm sunshine from the Caribbean. We all know Ohio could use more of that!
No really.
The pie molds will be out very soon! They usually come out after our spring trip. That’s when Mike spends his evenings outside working on getting the pool ready for swimming. So it’s just easier to be outside with him and let the kids run around while I’m cooking dinner. The pies are also easy for Mike to hold and eat while he gazes into the pool and says, “Wow, it’s really green this year.” They’ll come out about once a month or so through October. They’d come out more frequently if I was good at building a camp fire. Instead I tend to just build “camp smoke.”

We have something similar here in Australia (the square one that is) which is refered to as a campfire toasty. Basically you make tosted sandwiches in them, and here they come in singles and doubles. I would imagine you guys experiment with just about anything as regards to fillings. The Wiener one sounds interesting though, I take it weiners are some sort of a sausage???
