SATURDAY PHOTO HUNT–ANY PHOTO

This weeks theme is “Any Photo.”
We have tons of pictures to choose from in our digital photo library. And a ton that could be scanned in to share with you. Unfortunately, I don’t have the patience or time right now to scan, so I opted for a digital picture. But which one? How to choose?
I decided to show you the very first picture taken with our very first digital camera. Well, as best as I can figure because iPhoto isn’t sorting them by date as nicely as I would expect it too. But I do know we got our camera before our May vacation in 2000. And as best as I can figure without clicking on every.single.picture in my library, this is the earliest one. Here’s KT with our cat Dingle before he got kicked out of our house for bad behavior.

What a darling picture of KT (okay, and a cute one of Dingle, too)! The kids just grow up too fast! Yes, she is a beautiful young lady now, that’s true…..but I look at the pictures of when they were little (my own kids, as well) and can’t help thinking of how fast my life has gone by!!! I think I had better stop all the housework, laundry, cooking, and so on and do only fun things for a while.

KT is being kind compared to how Cody is with our cat, Blade. Of course, Cody doesn’t hurt him (all the time) but he does like to play with his ears and feet an awful lot!
KT looks so small in that picture. That’s the way I really remember her. Just a tiny little thing. She’s not allowed to be a teenager. Make her stop growing!
