    Dr. Mike-

Thank you for your podcast. It’s a good listen.

OK Dr. Mike, I know you know this. You really need to think before you make a joke about Nazis. Referencing a 40 year-old television show to justify laughing is not appropriate. Your joke was offensive.

Part of being a responsible adult is knowing when you’ve crossed a line and admitting it. This is something we expect from our children and we can be role models for them.

Please consider an apology. I’m sure your advertisers, as well as your listeners and their children would appreciate it.

Okay, fine. I didn’t stop listening to your show like I said I would. There truly is a lot of good information here. I can separate the useful news and leave the ‘opinions’ at the wayside.

I just wanted to thank you for advising that mother with breast milk supply issues to nurse more. Too often, mothers are advised to supplement with formula, thereby damaging their supply even more. I appreciate that you explained that supply is affected by the demand.

I am not a boob nazi. While I often use the same term in my home, I don’t think it’s appropriate on a national podcast. That’s MY opinion. I happen to agree that if breastfeeding is causing so much angst that it’s damaging the mother’s bond with her baby, then she SHOULD use formula.
