I was listening to your discussion on teething tablets today and you were questioning how effective they are. I used them with my kids when they were small and I have no idea if they really worked since, as you said, they could not talk. They loved the taste.
I had a couple of cold sores when my oldest was a baby and I did not have any medicine on hand so I decided to try the teething tablets to see if they would help. They caused localized numbness in the area where the tablet disolved. So, I assume that is the same effect they have on kids.
I love your show. I listen to it while I ride my bike to and from work.
